Food and Beverage Supervisor

Job Summary:

Domus Zamittello Hotel is looking for Food and Beverage Supervisor. The role’s primary responsibilities include supervising the Food and Beverage operations of Mezzodi Restaurant & hotel’s events and delivering an excellent guest and member experience while working with the team to ensure departmental targets are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Mezzodi Restaurant daily operations
  2. Assist the Events manager in events operation
  3. Acknowledge, greet, host and seat guests
  4. Ensure a consistently high standard of service
  5. Able to train staff who will be directed and coached at all times
  6. Deal with guests complaints in an efficient manner and follow up any cases reported by staff or management.
  7. Conduct training and ensure that standards and proper grooming are adhered to at all times
  8. Give suggestions which will help the department move forward
  9. Ensure that weekly and daily cleaning schedules are adhered to
  10. Be responsible for all money transactions, cash float and billing procedures
  11. Ensure that the proper hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Food and Beverage background, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a la carte environment
  2. Natural flair and confidence to speak to guests
  3. Good level of education
  4. Excellent customer care and communication skills
  5. Committed to delivering efficient, accurate and professional service
  6. Fluency in English
  7. Knowledge of POS System

Full Time Front Desk and Guest Relations Agent

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. At least 12 months of experience working in a similar role
  2. Good level of communication, understanding and reading of the English Language
  3. Must be a Maltese Citizen or an EU Citizen or already residing in Malta

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carrying out Reservations, Reception, Cashiering, Telephone and Concierge Services

  1. To operate the hotel reception desk efficiently, by attending to all guests’ requests in a professional manner, and also responding and managing to all incoming calls.
  2. To handle reservation requests and room allocations.
  3. Monitor daily bookings and liaising with the housekeeping department.
  4. Welcoming arriving guests, attending to all guests requests always using guest names.
  5. Co-ordinate activities between all departments to ensure guest requests are attended to positively and in the shortest possible time.
  6. Knowledge about the history of our capital city and in particular all the sights.
  7. Coordinate and manage communication between guests and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Handle all requests for concierge services including ticketing, flights, taxi, recommendation of restaurants and other activities in line with the hotel policy.
  9. Inputting of guests’ charges, onto their respective accounts, and attending to guest check out procedures.
  10. Report all customer feedback to the management

Ultimately the scope is to ensure the front desk is run as smoothly as possible delivering an excellent customer experience at all times.

Full Time & Part Time Room and Public Area Attendant

REQUIREMENTS:
1. At least 2 years experience working in a similar role
2. Good level of communication, understanding and reading of the English Language
3. Must be a Maltese Citizen or an EU Citizen or already residing in Malta

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Greeting guests and responding to queries ensuring complete guest satisfaction
2. Cleaning of Guest Rooms and Bathrooms to the high standards set by the hotel management
3. Cleaning of Hotel Public Areas, including public restrooms to high standards of hygiene
4. Responsible for turning over all lost and found items immediately to the hotel manager
5. Adhering to established policies and procedures
