Apart from offering luxury accommodation, the boutique hotel also offers eventing facilities across two grand rooms, located on the second floor, also known as the Piano Nobile, as well as the roof terrace situated on the third floor.
These outstanding event spaces overlook Republic Street and South Street. Within the Sala Nobile & Sala del Conte, one can enjoy the natural daylight which reveal the magnificence of the baroque style ceiling and decorative walls. The restoration work has been conducted to preserve the historical nature of the building and two Murano chandeliers have been placed to amplify the breath-taking décor.
A venue with a unique difference
The Sala Nobile is the main meeting room with its remarkable ceiling and walls. This 67sqm meeting room can accommodate up to 60 delegates in theatre style and can also cater for all types of events, such as meetings, presentations, stand up receptions and gala dinners.
Adjoining the Sala Nobile, one can find the smaller Sala del Conte, so named after the Count of Mont’Alto , a descendent of Sir Giuseppe Zamitt. The hand painted ceiling encompasses the coats of arms of various noble family connections of the present Count of Mont’Alto, including the one of Sir Giuseppe Zamitt . This naturally lit 40sqm decorative meeting room looks onto Republic Street and can easily accommodate up to 30 delegates.
Offering impressive views of the ruins of the old Royal Malta Opera House, the newly designed formidable city gate, Republic Street and beyond the green landscape of Malta, the terrace, located on level 3, is an ideal outdoor venue for any cocktail receptions or other stand up events.
